In the good clothes store you put the cool clothes as non-interactable. Then the old clothes you make them interactable. Then in the beacon sale area (the one that communicates with the ships) you give it priority as a clothing store (or another category if you want to get rid of damaged weapons, for example). When everything is ready, you reverse the situation of the warehouses and/or put the non-interacting scrap material to be able to sell it later.

It’s a bit of a hassle, it makes some money, but above all, it clears the area of crappy items. I couldn’t think of anything else. I think it lacks a mechanic to select the trade (you have to put the silver there where the beacon to buy via communications that surprised me a little this).

What I am not clear is when the new settlers arrive. I have 5 in this first game and I’m on day 20, I think, and I’m not getting more and I’m playing in koala mode. I can buy slaves but I don’t have the money for it. And I don’t take prisoners, they all die.
